Just like apple juice comes from apples. Squeezing an orange and expecting apple juice makes no sense. What comes out is what's inside.
People are no different.
The increasing stresses in our daily lives can be overwhelming, and when the squeeze gets too much, raw emotions come out. So when people at work apologize for their angry outburst saying "sorry, I'm not normally like this - it's just I'm under a lot of pressure" this is not true. This person is really asking for help.
What comes out is what's inside.
When was the last time you had an angry outburst? What life imbalance prevented you from reacting with patience and empathy instead of anger? What competing priority was crowding out the challenge in front of you?
I shoot people's faces. I see the tension in your eyes.
It reminds me of where I've been.
