Just as monkeys go in trees. Both species are wonderfully adapted to their environments and have a natural gracefulness to their movement that appears effortless.
So why hire a fish to climb a tree?
No amount of coaching, training, encouragement or disciplinary action will ever make a fish as graceful as a monkey. No matter how hard they work, they will not be successful. Or happy. Their inadequacies will make them question their self worth. They will feel the judgement of others and eventually leave, seeing themselves as a failure.
Yet put this fish back in water and they will thrive. Their inherent capabilities are once again aligned with the environment. They will be productive, efficient, cooperative, happy and balanced. They will be an engaged and valuable contributor to the goal.
We are not all the same.
