I love this story about a farmer who starts to dig a well. He digs for quite some time, yet nothing happens. Yes, the hole gets deeper, but no water ever comes. He starts to wonder "Have I got the right spot? Would I have more success over there?" He decides to try another spot to see if he is more successful.
A month later the farmer has several shallow wells, none deep enough to yield water.
Do not let fear and uncertainty turn into self doubt. All the farmer needed was one well deep enough to reach water, but he never gave himself the chance to be successful. Don't be this farmer. Whatever new thing you decide to do, be it acting, photography, or digging a well - know that success follows persistent effort.
Even if all you can do is a little bit each day, do not give up.
